A mathematical model on the transmission dynamics of typhoid fever with treatment and booster vaccination

Typhoid fever is a potentially fatal illness that caused by the bacteria Salmonella typhi . In this study, deterministic mathematical model was formulated to look into transmission dynamics of typhoid with treatment and booster vaccination. The reproduction number R0 calculated using next-generation matrix approach. Then, stability analysis on equilibrium points performed Routh–Hurwitz criteria. It revealed disease-free point locally asymptotically stable whenever id="M2">R0≤1 does not guarantee global typhoid-free corroborated result showing possible existence backward bifurcation at id="M4">R0=1 parameters in id="M5"><mml:mi Numerical simulations run determine impact various typhoid.
